Top 15 Reveals from the GTA VI Trailer That Uncover Everything about What’s Coming

So the highly anticipated “Next Grand Theft Auto” trailer is finally here from Rockstar Games and people are going crazy. Surprisingly, the trailer came out earlier than expected after a leaker uploaded the original trailer on X (Twitter). Right after 30 minutes of the leak, Rockstar Games released the GTA VI trailer on their official YouTube channel. From then, the internet is on fire and that 91-second clip from Rockstar has now crossed 100 million views in less than 48 hours, becoming the third-highest-viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours of its release.

Contrary to expectations, the trailer tells us many details of the game. After a very comprehensive look at all aspects of the game, here is our comprehensive GTA VI trailer breakdown covering all the small things you may have missed.

1. Ocean View Hotel From OG Vice City

Starting with the Hotel from the classic Grand Theft Auto: Vice City! Yeah, the trailer shows a glimpse of Ocean View Hotel from the side, taking us back to the old days.

2. SuperCars – Close to Reality

The cars in the GTA VI trailer look much like their real counterparts. They may not feature genuine branding and logos, but still, the detail is out of this world. The muscle cars, police chase vehicles, and highly customized race cars are next-generation. We saw a blue Porsche, a white Ferrari, and an orange Dodge Challenger.

We might also be able to further customize them in-game from the vice city customs. Until now, it’s race and muscle everywhere!

3. Super Dynamic Weather

The GTA VI trailer starts with a spectacular sunset in Florida, which then moves the focus to the beach with the title “Rockstar Games Presents”, and this is where I got goosebumps. From sunset to a bright sunny day on a beach in Florida, full of people dancing and enjoying around, explains the dynamic weather in-game. Later, it also features a much darker environment with heavy clouds, looks like hurricanes are also in the game!

4. Wildlife is Here – Better Than Ever

This is Rockstar Games’ turn to introduce wildlife into the game as we can clearly see flamingos flying, alligators moving in and dolphins diving out in the GTA VI trailer. How many animals? Who knows, but still there is some crazy Florida nature here.

5. The DODO, Fishing & Speed Boats are Back

In every frame of the GTA VI trailer, we spot nostalgia, this time with the Dodo airplane, originally from GTA 3. There are yachts, fishing, and speed boats splashing around the Florida waters. Yes, these things are part of every GTA but going back to Miami, this is definitely a highlight.

6. Social Media is Live In-Game

There is an Instagram Reels or TikTok type social media that Rockstar Games featured in the GTA VI trailer. Like, multiple clips with vertical videos, live streams, celebrities, and people clicking pictures of the thing they love. We still don’t know much about how players will use this in-game. But it is good to have a game that simulates reality.

7. Toll Booths: Leonida the Tax Haven

The nighttime shots in the GTA VI trailer do feature toll booths around the city. Well, we don’t understand the purpose as of now. Like, players never follow traffic rules in the first place. Did you ever stop at a red light while driving around in GTA V? Exactly, who is going to stop at the toll booth to pay taxes? Welcome to Miami!

8. Kids Are in the Game – Mud Club!

You might have noticed the muddy environment in the GTA VI trailer featuring “Thrillbilly Mud Club”, people playing around in the mud with kids shown for the first time in any Grand Theft Auto title. This tells us that GTA VI might have NPC children other than rich kids who do no other thing than move their bodies. We are anticipating the mud visuals, like Red Dead Redemption 2, to be more enhanced.

9. NPCs are Next Level – Crazy Traffic

NPCs are the main highlight of the game, as there were many leaks on this topic before the official GTA VI trailer. The T2 CEO, also revealed that the GTA VI NPCs are going to be super intelligent as they are trained using modern-day AI models. The trailer backs the statement very much, as we witness highly detailed NPCs across the roads and on the beach.

10. Recreation of Real Places from Miami – Clubs

The GTA VI trailer features real-life locations from Miami, the beaches, the audience, the vibe, and almost everything from the clip takes viewers to Florida instantly. Many fans argue that the club portrayed in the trailer is the recreation of the club in Miami called “Club Space.” We are not 100% sure of it, but if you have visited this one, do let us know in the comments.

11. Lucia Has Some Restrictions Across Vice City

The main cover art of Grand Theft Auto 6 also tells us something about the story. In the image, you can clearly see a device on Lucia’s foot that might have to do something with the police. She was in jail showing a criminal background that ended her up in a cell. We are assuming some area restrictions across Vice City for our first-ever female protagonist. Her boyfriend might have to take over those areas. Who knows?

12. Explicit Florida, Oh Sorry Leonida

Many critics argue over all the explicit content Rockstar Games put up in the GTA VI trailer. There are celebrity live streams, girls twerking on top of cars, sugar daddies partying around on yachts, and gangsters all around. A couple of shots in the trailer also show an angry granny holding hammers, and an old man watering the gardens half-naked. All this stuff sparked a sense of anticipation across the audience. Well, we saw Rockstar Games portraying reality in all of their titles, and GTA VI, being the next-gen game, also replicates real-world scenarios.

Here are some images that show how closely Rockstar Games have observed Miami and its environment to make the in-game Leonida as close as possible to the real world:

13. Not Coming to PC on Launch

The official word about the release from Rockstar Games comes with one bad news for our fellow PC gamers just like me. The official T2 press release says nothing about the PC release while announcing Grand Theft Auto VI for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025!

14. 2025 – But Exactly When?

Yes, the trailer ends with the “Coming 2025” tagline. For now, we don’t know about the exact release and still cannot answer the “when in 2025?” question. Rockstar did not mention anything specific about the date of the GTA VI release, but many news sites and fanbases are arguing the release to be in early 2025, i.e., Q1 2025. Others also believe that Rockstar is talking about the fiscal year 2025, which starts from July 2024 to the End of June 2025. Still, nothing is confirmed and the discussions are hot around this topic.

15. Trust?

“The only way we can get through this, is by sticking together, being a team, Trust? Trust!” This is how the highly anticipated trailer ends featuring a love story that resembles the Bonnie and Clyde-like in-game plot. But will this trust stay true all along or Rockstar is going to twist the storyline? Well, wait till 2025 to find out!
