For August in our upcoming games 2024 list is Black Myth: Wukon! It is, an upcoming game 2024 based on an action RPG by Chinese developer Game Science, which is set to release on August 20. Following the classic Journey to the West, players control “the Destined One,” a monkey character with the ability to transform. The game features the authorized use of a theme song from China Central Television’s 1986 TV series. Game Science actively marketed the game with notable gameplay trailers, revealing enemy encounters, areas, and spells. Ultimately, a significant move was made when the game transitioned to Unreal Engine 5 for enhanced visuals and technical aspects.

September – Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, an upcoming third-person shooter and hack-n-slash game developed by Saber Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment, is set to be released on September 9, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S. It is an interesting title in our upcoming games 2024 list, as it continues the series of the 2011 title Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, players will engage in both melee and ranged combat from a third-person perspective. The main character, Titus, a lieutenant of the Ultramarines chapter, is accompanied by fellow Space Marines Chairon and Gadriel throughout the campaign. Players can take control of these characters in the cooperative multiplayer mode or let the AI handle them in the single-player experience.

October – Marvel’s Wolverine (TBA)

Insomniac Games is working on a new video game called Marvel’s Wolverine, set to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is centered around the Marvel Comics character Wolverine and will tell a unique story inspired by the character’s history in comics and other media. It’s not a part of the Marvel’s Spider-Man series but exists in the same universe, maintaining continuity with the previous titles. The game is currently under development and is slated for an exclusive release on the PlayStation 5.

November – Another Crab’s Treasure (TBA)

The storyline unveils dark secrets tied to environmental decay, offering a visually stunning adventure with a unique blend of combat, exploration, and an intricate narrative.
