Google to Add More PC Games to its Play Store

According to Google for Games developer summit, the tech giant is looking to expand its Google Play Games store library. The announcement relating to Google Play services indicates the addition of more PC games to the store. There are many PC games already available on the Google Play Store including Lineage 2M, Odin: Valhalla Rising, Genshin Impact, and Dragonheir: Silent Gods.

The announcement from Google came right after Microsoft’s addition of sunset support for Windows subsystems for Android. This update from Microsoft allows users to enjoy Android games on Windows 11 systems. 

The announcement also emphasizes the addition of new features of Google Play Pass. It offers a selection of Android games to play for a monthly fee. According to Google, some players will be able to access special in-game items and discounts including EA Sports FC Mobile, MONOPOLY GO!, and the favorite of many, Roblox!

Moreover, the update brings new features such as access to YouTube for specific games on the store, Additionally, some games having in-game ads will now include interactive elements. Google mentions, “Instead of pop-ups or video breaks during gameplay, you can choose to engage with integrated ads or simply continue playing.”

Finally, the update brings another new feature that will allow players to sign in using different options. Like before, all their in-game achievements are stored on their Google account and will continue right from where they left off on any different device.
